Dana May Latch received her B.A. at Harpur College, State University of New York (SUNY) in 1965, her M.A. in Mathematics at Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY) in 1967, and her Ph.D. in Mathematics at City University of New York (CUNY), Graduate School in 1971. Latch served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Rutgers University, Lawrence University and North Carolina State University. Her professional career also included positions as Professor of Computer Science and Program Director in Theoretical Computer Science. Her career included instructional innovations, papers published in refereed journals, grants, and seminar talks.
