Fall 2020 Service Updates

The Natural Resources Library has reopened as of August 10th for the Fall 2020 semester. Our hours will be 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. We will be closed weekends.

Using the library

We are offering limited seating during the semester. We have tables, study carrels and computer stations open on a walk-in basis. One person per station. To maintain proper distancing, we also ask that you do not move the tables or chairs from their locations. Eating and drinking will not be allowed.

We will only be open to NC State faculty, staff and students. Our physical collection has been removed from the library in preparation of the renovation. All materials are available on request from the website and will be delivered to the location you desire.

Course reserves

Course reserves are online only. See the library's page for more information.

Borrowing technology

We will continue tech lending of most items, including laptops, except ear phones and other items that are difficult to clean and sanitize.

Returning materials

All returned books or other materials will be quarantined for four days before being discharged, so be aware that items you have returned may continue to appear in your library account for up to a week after being returned.
