Fabric and thread samples are included. Thomas Roy Hart (1890-1956) obtained bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Textiles Engineering from North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. He joined the faculty at North Carolina State College in 1919. He went on to become the Head of the Department of Weaving and Designing, and Director of Instruction.
