The certificate is signed by the Dean of Administration, the Dean of Engineering, and the Director of the program. The Engineering, Science, and Management War Training program (ESMWT) was a United States government-sponsored program which provided training classes for Americans so that they could fill urgently needed technical and scientific civilian positions during World War II. The program ran from October 1940 until June 1945 on college campuses around the country.
