The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity was formed in 2011 when the Office for Equal Opportunity and the Office for Diversity and Inclusion merged to form a new office. The OIED comprises the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, the African American Cultural Center, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Center, and the Women's Center. The OIED is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible, and diverse intellectual and cultural campus experience related to the mission of North Carolina State University (https://diversity.ncsu.edu/mission-vision-and-goals/ accessed 6/12/2020).
