Makerspace featured in a keystone IMLS publication

The last week of June was the National Week of Making. The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) celebrated by releasing a major new publication: “Making and Learning in Museums and Libraries: A Practitioner’s Guide and Framework”. Developed over the past three years in cooperation with the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, the publication features many library and museum adopters reflecting on the creation of ambitious learning experiences in their makerspaces. Our own Emerging Technology Services Librarian Adam Rogers authored an article in one of the chapters about the “pieces and parts” of the NCSU Libraries’ makerspaces.
