The dates of this series range from 1943 to 1983; some materials are undated. This series is arranged alphabetically.
The Guidelines and Regulations series includes publications and other materials relating to architectural guidelines, regulations, and other specifications in various subject matters. Subject matter includes the environment, climate, transportation, physically handicapped, and architectural studies and practices. The dates for this series range from 1939 to 1992; however, many items are undated. This series is arranged alphabetically.
The Publicity series includes books, brochures, and other materials that publicize the lives and works of various architects and architectural firms. Many of the architects and firms are from North Carolina including Bell Design Group, Hammill-Walter Associates, Richard Bell, and Odell Associates. Architects and firms from other geographic locations include Abbott Associates, Frank Lloyd Wright, Heery & Heery, and RTKL. The dates for this series range from 1941 to 1981; however, many items are undated. This series is arranged alphabetically.
The Design Projects and Competition series includes reports, manuals, and other publications relating to design competitions and projects, local and nationwide. Also included is an essay from a School of Design student and pamphlet on the Kamphoefner Fund. The dates for this series range from 1972 to 1990; some materials are undated. This series is arranged alphabetically.
This collection is open for research; access requires at least 48 hours advance notice. Because of the nature of certain archival formats, including digital and audio-visual materials, access to digital files may require additional advanced notice.
