Brooks Hall, College of Design, NCSU

The Design Library is located on the second floor, in room 209, of Brooks Hall. Brooks Hall is the main building of the College of Design, which is located on main campus. Brooks Hall faces the traffic circle at the intersection of Pullen Road and Stinson Drive, across from Pullen Park.

Between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, visitors may enter the building from any of Brooks Hall’s doors. During other hours that the Library is open, visitors can enter through the second floor doors located in the breezeway at the north end of Brooks Hall. Map of nearest spaces and lots. For people with B permits, the nearest parking spaces are along Pullen Road. The next closest are along Baver Drive and in the Boney Lot. People with C permits can park on Dunn Avenue, along Jensen Drive, or in the Jeter Drive Bays. Visitors and people with RE or CD permits can park in the Coliseum Parking Deck, which is off Dunn Avenue between Jensen Drive and Jeter Drive.

On Campus

Parking spots on campus require an NC State parking permit 8:00am - 5:00pm on weekdays. Hourly visitor parking is available in the Coliseum Deck and the Dan Allen Deck. These lots are gated and require a credit card to enter and for payment upon exit.

Off-Campus and Park & Ride

Paid City of Raleigh Street Parking is available on Pullen Rd. near the Design Library and on Hillsborough St., a short walk from the Design Library. Metered parking is in effect from 8:00am - 5:00pm on weekdays except for city-observed holidays. Parking pay stations and meters accept coins, credit cards, and debit cards.

Free off-campus parking is available at Carter-Finley Stadium during Fall and Spring Terms. Enter the lot using Gate B on Trinity Rd. or Gate F on Westchase Blvd. The Wolfline’s Route 6 Carter Finley will take you to main campus. The Wolfline is a free campus bus service.

Evening and Weekends

Campus parking is free and open to the public after 5:00pm on weekdays and throughout the weekend, with a few posted exceptions.

Bicycle Parking

Bike racks are located in the courtyard area between Brooks and Kamphoefner Halls, and in the breezeway at the north end of Brooks Hall.
