Building: James B. Hunt Jr. Library

Floor: Fourth Floor

Rooms: Audio A (4214), Audio B (4213), Audio D (4211)

Three Audio Rooms are fully equipped for creating and mixing music, recording voiceovers, transferring audio from analog formats, and editing digital media with full 88-key MIDI controller/keyboards, professional microphones, turntables, cassette decks, digital audio workstations, and media editing tools and software. The weighted, 88-key MIDI controllers are perfect for keyboard recording and practice.

As an alternative space for those seeking a traditional piano experience, there are eight practice studios available to NC State students on a first-come, first-served basis in Price Music Center, the home of the Music Department.

Reservable spaces require an orientation, which can be completed online. It can take up to 48 hours for you to be added to the system; if you need a reservation on the same day you take the orientation please stop by the space and ask for help from a consultant. You will need to complete the orientation in both cases, but we may be able to set you up with a reservation same day if you stop by in person.

The Media Spaces at Hunt are staffed during our open Make Media hours, meaning you can find drop-in consultation assistance for projects, technology, and more just by stopping by.
