NC State Office of Global Engagement and NCSU Libraries have teamed up to help students explore the world in virtual reality (VR). Students will present tours of the places they lived or took courses in Asia. The tours will be visualized with Google Earth VR, a software that allows immersive 3D interaction with global map data. After the talks, attendees will have a chance to try Google Earth VR in DH Hill Library's VR Studio, and learn more about NCSU Libraries' VR Services. Information about studies abroad and Asian interest student groups will be available, and international snacks will be served.
