The Digital Media Lab provides hardware and software tools for a wide variety of digital projects. The Lab is located on the first floor of the D.H. Hill Library's east wing, adjacent to the Learning Commons, and is open whenever the library is open. Technology Consultants are available for scheduled consultations and staff the Lab at the following times (during the semester):
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
The Digital Media Lab features 19 Apple computers (15 iMacs and 4 Mac Pros) and 4 Dell Precision PCs, all of which have Adobe CS5 applications and an assortment of other software for creating and editing digital media. A large-format printer is also available.
Specialized stations for:
- video editing
- audio production and
- scanners for converting most any content to a digital format.
