Electronic Theses and Dissertations available at NCSU Libraries

All theses and dissertations completed at NC State, both print and electronic, are included in the Libraries Catalog, and can be searched by author, title, or keyword.

Example keyword search: su physics and su theses

Since 1997, students have been able to submit an electronic version of their thesis or dissertation. On April 22, 2002, electronic submission became required. Electronic NC State theses and dissertations are accessible in the catalog as well as from this page.

Please note that this refers only to theses and dissertations authored at NC State. NC State students, faculty, and staff seeking access to theses and dissertations from other academic institutions should first search Dissertation Abstracts.

Some theses and dissertations from other institutions may be available through Interlibrary & Document Delivery Services.

Below is a link to the documents submitted for the Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) Project thus far. Clicking on an ETD title will retrieve its abstract in text form. A further link at the bottom of each abstract connects to the full thesis or dissertation, delivered as a PDF file. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view these documents. You can download a version of this free software for your computer platform.
