About This Workshop

Ever wonder how those awesome virtual reality (VR) experiences are built? Better yet, are you interested in learning how to build your very own VR experiences? This hands on interactive workshop introduces participants to WebVR content creation using A-Frame, a web based framework for building VR experiences with html. We will cover all the basics of A-Frame: building environments, creating 3D objects, and finally animating objects. Come as you are, no previous coding or VR experience required! You’ll leave with your very own VR experience you can wow your friends with.

We'll use the cloud-based coding environment Glitch. You'll need a free Glitch account and you can create one with Facebook or Github credentials. If you can bring your own laptop, great. We will provide Mac laptops as well.
