Shout-outs to Staff
The following are Libraries staff who have received a shout-out from one or more of their colleagues for going out of their way to be extra awesome at their job.
Eric Pauley
When you think of someone who cares about getting things right, and has amazing follow-through, that's Eric Pauley. I recently needed Eric's help in updating an online form that had multiple dependencies on other communication channels. The request was complex and he caught details that I didn't catch when I prepped the changes to be made. Eric's work made the online form do a much better job of helping us help patrons with requesting collections support during the pandemic.

Beth Ashmore
I've learned so much from Beth, but the thing that stands out to me now as one of the best things about Beth is her strong emotional intelligence and positivity. She handles so many different things well and manages others' expectations better than most people I know. An example: just recently, she volunteered to help create a presentation about our Dryad data repository membership. Not only did she proactively do the intellectual labor of framing out the slides, but she also made it really easy and compelling to want to volunteer to co-present with her to share the findings from our first year as Dryad members. It was one of the best collaborations on a presentation I've had the opportunity to do in a while and I'm honored to have worked with Beth on this and many other facets of our work.
