Citation Guidance

In order for other researchers to use and verify your research, it is important to cite exactly where you obtained your information. The following examples are provided as a general guide for citing information from the NC State University Libraries' Special Collections Research Center. 

For bibliographic citations from the University Archives: 

[Identification of item], Office of the Chancellor, Marye Anne Fox Records, UA 002.001.008, Special Collections Research Center, NC State University Libraries, Raleigh, NC. 

For bibliographic citations from the Manuscripts Collection:

For footnote citations from the University Archives:
