About This Event
Join A/V Geeks founder and NC State alum Skip Elsheimer and Dr. Lara Pacifici, Director of Undergraduate Programs, Forestry and Environmental Resources, to watch and discuss two short vintage educational films that explore our complex relationship with the natural world. By pairing a selection from the 1930s with one from the 1970s, we’ll observe how environmental messaging evolved from the early days of scientific forestry to the urgent "ecology" movement of the late 20th century.
