Keenious Research Explorer is an AI tool that helps individuals access relevant research on topics of interest by sharing a text sample such as thesis statement or outline.

How do I access this database?

If you're on campus, you can use Keenious without logging in to perform searches. If you're off campus, or if you want to save your searches or use integration with Microsoft Word or Google Docs, you'll need to create a free account with Keenious using your NC State email. Account creation and login instructions are below.

If you have registered for a Keenious account previously:

  1. Access Keenious and log in using your ncsu.edu email address and complete the two-factor email verification.

If you are accessing Keenious for the first time:

  1. Access Keenious and enter your name and your @ncsu.edu email address and click on the Sign Up button.
  2. Complete the two-factor email verification.
  3. Click the Sign In button.  

If you would like to use the Keenious Microsoft Word or Google Docs Add-on from off-campus, be sure to create an account on the Keenious platform with your @ncsu.edu email address.
