USA trade online

Description

Provides U.S. export and import information on more than 18,000 commodities presented in the Harmonized Tariff Classification System for current month and previous month; cumulative year to date, current year and prior year; and annual two year and historical data.

How do I access this database?

If you have already registered for a USA Trade Online account:

  1. Visit USA Trade Online and select the "LOG IN" button.
  2. Sign in with your previously-created USA Trade Online User ID and password.

If you have not yet registered for a USA Trade Online account:

  1. Visit USA Trade Online and select the "SIGN-UP NOW" button.
  2. Complete the Subscription Form in the pop-up window and click the Submit button This is a free resource from the Census Bureau and there is no subscription fee but creating an account is required.
  3. A new pop-up window will appear with a Receipt for USA Trade Online that will include your UserID and UserName. Keep a copy of this information for your records as you will need the UserID to login to your account. 
  4. You will also receive an email at the email address you provided. Open the this email and click the link to activate the account. 
  5. After clicking the activate link, a pop-up window will ask you to create a New User Password and New Maintenance Password for your account. If you want these passwords to be the same only fill in the New User Password information and click the Submit button. 
  6. Once you have set a password, click the "LOG IN" button and enter the User ID and password that you chose and click the LOG IN button.
