Library Resources

Not sure where to start on that new multimedia project? We're here to help!

Need help with multimedia?

The NCSU Libraries offers a number of workshops and consultation services to help you get the most out of the resources available to you here at the Libraries. The full list of workshops can be found here.

However, if you're just not sure where to start, we can help with that too!

The Digital Media Making Orientation is a great way to learn about all the tools the Libraries can offer, in a hands-on orientation with subjects experts from the Library. Click on the links below to see when these worshops are offered.

Digital Media Making Orientation (Hill Library)

Digital Media Making Orientation (Hunt Library)

Many of our previous contestants used websites to host their content; if you'd like help creating a website, try one of these workshops:

Ready. Set. Go! Zero to Website in 90 Minutes

If you'd prefer more one-on-one help, we'd love to meet with you; fill out the Technology Consultation form, and one of our librarians will get back to you as quickly as possible.

We also maintain a hub of all digital media creation resources here, at the Digital Media Production hub.

Need help with research?

If you're not sure how to start researching a topic, check out our video tutorials on beginning the research process.

For a general overview of research in sustainability-related topics, try our Sustainability Research Guide.

We also have a series of workshops designed to help you get started with your research projects:

Literature Searching

Literature Reviews

We're here to help! The NCSU Libraries offers research consultations, where you can sit down with a librarian to get help refining a research topic, finding data or information, using databases effectively, or other library-related needs.
