Leroy Earnhardt has been a resident of Kannapolis since he was a small child. He worked for Cannon Mills from 1957 until the Pillowtex closing.

This interview is organized around several main themes: Mr. Earnhardt's impressions of the town; and the town's identity as a textile town.
