The North Carolina State University, Division of Academic and Student Affairs was formed in 2011 through the merger of the Division of Student Affairs and Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs. It was formerly named the Division of Student Services and Programs. The senior leader of the division is the Vice Chancellor and Dean for Academic and Student Affairs.

The Division of Academic and Student Affairs is comprised of Academic Programs and Services, ARTS NC STATE, Campus Life, and Student Development, Health, and Wellness. DASA is a unique organization that integrates curricular and co-curricular components to improve the academic performance of students and the quality of academic and non-academic experiences at NC State University. Its aim is to promote the success of the whole student, both in terms of academic and personal growth.
