Scope/content

Digital audio and video recordings of interviews conducted with former North Carolina State University faculty, staff, and students and faculty as part of the Institutional History Documentation Initiative. Interviews were conducted by Virginia Ferris, 2014-2015. Copies of transcripts, mp4 format videos, and mp3 format audio are available upon request.

Arrangement

The collection is organized into two series: Institutional Oral Histories, and General Oral Histories. Within each series, interviews are organized alphabetically by last name of interviewee.

Use of these materials

The NC State University Libraries generally claims only physical ownership of most Special Collections materials. These materials are made available for use in research, teaching, and private study, pursuant to U.S. Copyright law. Libraries staff are unable to advise on copyright and other legal matters; the user assumes full responsibility for any use of the materials, including but not limited to, infringement of copyright and publication rights of reproduced materials.
