About This Event

Charity Valentine uses scanners as an innovative tool to create hauntingly beautiful photographic images. These Scanograms feature flora and fauna to tell stories of her childhood experiences.

Valentine, Head of the Fine Arts Department at Pitt Community College, will discuss her work and her process during this Making Space presentation.

Charity will also lead a hands-on workshop, "Finding Beauty: Scanners as a Creative Tool" in the evening after her talk. Registration is required. Register here.
