Mendeley
Mendeley is a free web and desktop reference management application maintained by Elsevier. It saves citations locally on your computer, and makes your citations available from any computer by syncing. Mendeley works with Mac, PC, Linux, and Ubuntu systems.
Installation:
1. Install through the Mendeley website. Mendeley downloads as a standalone application, and a browser extension (available for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox) can also be downloaded for easily adding citations to Mendeley.
2. Create a Mendeley account. After installation, it is strongly recommended you register for a Mendeley account to enable syncing and groups.
3. Quick Start Guide. Mendeley offers a large number of help guides, including installation and getting started.
