Visit the Libraries at Entrepalooza!

Mr. Wuf greets Entrepalooza-goers by representing the pack!

NC State hosts its third annual Entrepalooza, which celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation on our campus, on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. on Centennial Campus. The NCSU Libraries will be among many alumni, students and partners with tables at an interactive showcase at this free, public event.

Our librarians will be available to talk about many Libraries spaces and services useful to entrepreneurs, including:

  • rapid prototyping services, software, and one-on-one support in our Makerspace program, including 3D printing, and other digital fabrication tools
  • access to cutting-edge technology in our Tech Lending service, including VR equipment, Internet of Things starter kits, and more
  • help with researching industries and markets, including access to databases with proprietary intelligence and reports
  • support in learning the patent process
  • digital media production support to create product or business pitch videos

The Entrepalooza also features a “Minute to Pitch It” competition, with 15 students pitching business venture ideas for a chance to win $1,000. Visit the Entrepalooza site for parking information, directions, a full list of showcase participants, or to apply for the pitch competition.
