The Harrye B. Lyons Design Library Vertical Files, 1939-1992, contains books, serials, brochures, and other reference materials relating to various matters in architecture gathered by the Harrye B. Lyon Design Library. The collection is organized into 4 series: architectural works, guidelines and regulations, publicity, and design projects and competitions. Architectural works includes books, serials, brochures, essays, and other materials relating to buildings, projects, and other architectural works. Guidelines and regulations include books, serials, manuals, and other materials relating to architectural guidelines, regulations, and other specifications in various subject matters. Publicity material includes books, brochures, and other materials that publicize the lives and works of various architects and architectural firms. Design competitions and projects includes reports, manuals, and other publications relating to design competitions and projects. Several items relate to the School of Design.
