Databases: Searchasaurus
Searchasaurus is a way for young researchers to experience online searching. It is an animated interface with a dinosaur theme that encourages students to enhance and develop basic search methodologies. Searchasaurus includes The American Heritage Children's Dictionary, formatted for the needs of children in grades 3-6; the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia database; and, Image Collection.
