About This Workshop
Point-and-click or Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) are common and familiar ways to interact with a computer, but unfortunately, they're not available for all software or for all machines. Instead, users need to manually type commands, which can be daunting to newcomers.
Join us for a 90 minute workshop covering the basics of command line interfaces (CLIs) using bash. Participants will be introduced to CLI fundamentals and led through a live-coding demo of common bash commands and concepts. No previous experience is required, and CLI novices are welcome!
