IRB Basics Part 3a: Exempt Applications

About this workshop

This session will go through the exempt eIRB application process (both the applicable eIRB application tabs and the exemption request packet) question-by-question and provide targeted guidance for how to fill the application out and how to upload supporting documentation and what documents to upload. Successful completion of IRB Basics Part 1 is a prerequisite to attend. 

Note that REPORTER will not allow you to register for this workshop unless you have either already completed IRB Basics: Part I or have an active registration for an IRB Basics Part I instance that will take place before the IRB Basics Part 3a workshop.

Please note: Latecomers will not be admitted to the workshop. Those that do not attend the entire workshop will not be marked complete for the workshop nor receive a completion certificate.
