Jay Lawrence and Ella Apple Technology Showcase
Building: James B. Hunt Jr. Library
Floor: Second Floor
Room: 2200
The Jay Lawrence and Ella Apple Technology Showcase at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library on Centennial Campus serves as a co-work and study space for students, and as a hub of interdisciplinary technology and craft based activities to promote and support innovation in high impact experiential learning.
The Technology Showcase is a site that also hosts a variety of pop-ups, workshops, and events designed to engage Hunt Library patrons through low-stakes, playful, and engaging learning opportunities.
The Fall 2026 semester is bringing several pop-up workshops presented by Libraries partners, and The Studios.
In addition to various technologies, such as synthesizers, and a VR headset that libraries’ patrons can explore, an upcoming small scale materials library in collaboration with the Wilson College of Textiles will be coming to the space this Fall semester.
