The Ground Floor Reading Room is a large study space with traditional library-style seating. The Libraries' circulating DVD collection is also housed in this space.

  •   How do I get there?

    Brickyard Entrance

    Elevator and Stairs

    • Enter the Hill Library from the Brickyard entrance.
    • Go through the library gates and turn right.
    • The Reading Room is on your right. 

    Hillsborough St. Entrance

    Elevator

    • Enter the Hill Library from the Hillsborough St. entrance.
    • Go straight through the gates and turn left.
    • Continue down the hallway until you reach the elevator.
    • Take the elevator to the first floor.
    • Continue into the Tower.
    • Continue straight through the lobby and follow the balcony to the right. 
    • Turn left and take the elevator down to the ground floor.
    • Exit the elevator, the Reading Room is in front of you. 

    Stairs

    • Enter the Hill Library from the Hillsborough St. entrance.
    • Go straight through the gates and turn left.
    • Continue down the hallway until you reach the stairs. 
    • Take the stairs to the first floor.
    • Continue into the Tower.
    • Continue straight through the lobby, go down the main stairs to the ground floor. 
    • Turn left, the Reading Room is on your right.
