Can I install this software on my own computer?

The Libraries does not provide software for download to personal computers. It's possible you can get it from somewhere else on campus. Check other options for installing software on your computer.

Where can I download ArcGIS Pro?

Download ArcGIS Pro installer (Unity ID login required)

  • Includes latest version and optional product extensions and data
  • Mulitple versions may be listed, but it is recommended to select the latest version
  • A readme.txt is included that describes each install file

The core ArcGIS Pro installer file may also be downloaded from your ArcGIS Online account. 

  1. Click your name in the upper right
  2. Go to My Settings > Licenses.  
  3. On the list of product licenses, you'll see a download link for ArcGIS Pro.

Getting Started

When you start ArcGIS Pro, a login window will appear asking for your ArcGIS Online (AGO) account. 

You will need to use an ArcGIS Online account that is enabled through our NC State University Organizational account.

Use the expandable option that says "Your ArcGIS organization's URL" and fill out the URL path to be ncsu.maps.arcgis.com.  From there, click the blue button saying "North Carolina State University (Single Sign On) and proceed to log in with your Unity ID and password.  See ArcGIS Online account for specific instructions about creating a new AGO account or using an existing account.
