What to know

The NC State University Flash Film Fest will be held October 23 - 25, 2026, with the Kickoff on October 23 at 5pm at the D.H. Hill Jr. Library North Forum.

Who's eligible to compete?

Current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at NC State University at the time of competition are eligible. Students representing all colleges, backgrounds, and perspectives are encouraged to participate.

Team formation

You'll sign up as an individual. A script-pitch activity at the Kickoff after the required elements reveal will help organize attendees into teams.

Sign-up limit

The NC State Flash Film Fest 2026 is limited to 100 students. A waitlist will be established if the cap is reached.

The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 16th, at 11:59pm ET.
