The main goal of The Pherobase is to convert scientific data and knowledge from the literature and published peer-reviewed information about behavioural modifying chemicals into electronically searchable database entries. The Pherobase is extensively linked, user-friendly, easy to understand and to follow. Currently, there are over 30,000 entries, 22,000 semiochemicals, around 185,000 organic compounds, and over 500,000 static php pages that make it the world’s largest database of behavior-modifying chemicals. In addition, mass spectral data, NMR, and synthesis data for more than 55,000 organic compounds are included.
