About This Workshop

In this introductory workshop, you will learn how to identify the main design elements of a visualization: color, typography, titles, subtitles, annotations, dark/light contrast, and labels.  You will learn how to use these design elements to create visualizations specifically for publication in various formats.  We will give an overview of tools that you can use to create publication-quality visualizations.
