About This Workshop
This workshop will discuss the what, why, and how of formal data sharing via publication, using the Dryad Data Repository as an example repository. Participants should come away with an understanding of what distinguishes data publication from data sharing, why formal publication of data through a trusted repository is increasingly important, what is generally required of researchers in order to publish their data, and how to get started with data publication.
