W.E.B. Du Bois Visualization

Inspired by the visualization work of W.E.B. Du Bois, this exhibit is designed as a showcase of visualizations (both physical and digital) that are either modern extensions of Du Bois’ work or products of original scholarship around racial equity and justice. This exhibition was created through a collaboration of NC State's Geospatial Graduate Student Organization and the NC State University Libraries as part of GIS week in Fall 2021.

This exhibition features the data visualization of 16 NC state students and faculty paired with the original 1900 Paris Exposition visualizations by WEB Du Bois and his students.
