About This Event

Whether at work or at home, everyone generates a large amount of data. This data can be just digital photos, data from your research work, or different versions of your research paper or thesis. In this workshop we will discuss different types of data, how to put your data in context, file formats, naming and tagging conventions, and storage options. We will also address the current state of publicly available data sets.
