Excellent Student Library Assistants!

Three student library assistants were recently honored by the NCSU Libraries for going above and beyond the call of duty in the course of their work. The Above & Beyond Library Service Award program acknowledges the excellence of student workers, who make essential contributions to the day-to-day operations of the Libraries.

The three awardees are (left to right) Le Chi Trinh , a Senior in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Mathematics, who works in the Burlington Textiles Library; Lakisha Williams , a senior double majoring in Criminology and Political Science who works in the Research and Information Services Department, and John Devide , a graduate student in Computer Engineering who works in the Information Technology Department. All were recognized at the Student Appreciation Party on April 16, 2008.
