D-I-WISE: 3D PRINTING
A creative workshop on making physical objects from digital designs
This workshop will cover the basics of 3D Printing including basic 3D design, printer operation, safety, and the wide world of possibilities it opens up. We'll work hands-on with the Hill Makerspace’s MakerBot and Lulzbot 3D printers.
Beginners welcome! Come with any level of CAD or 3D skill, and you'll walk away ready to use the D. H. Hill Jr. Library Makerspace and its 3D printers.

This is a WISE program, but anyone (NCSU student, faculty, or staff) is welcome to attend.
Technologies covered:
- Tinkercad 3D design software
- LulzBot Mini and its Cura software
- MakerBot Replicator 2 and its MakerBot Desktop software
