The Special Collections Reading Room is a study space and the home of the library's collection of faculty publications. Researchers can access the Special Collections Research Center's materials at the Service Desk (request in advance).

How do I get there?
Brickyard Entrance
Elevator
- Enter the Hill Library from the Brickyard Entrance.
- Go through the library gates and turn right.
- Continue towards the reading room and the elevator bay will be on your left.
- Take the elevator to the first floor.
- Turn right after exiting the elevator bay and follow the balcony around to the right.
- Continue straight through the lobby and into the Learning Commons.
- Continue straight through the Exhibit Gallery to reach the Special Collections Reading Room.
Stairs
- Enter the Hill Library from the Brickyard Entrance.
- Go through the library gates.
- Take the stairs up to the first floor.
- After exiting the stairwell, turn right and continue straight through the lobby and into the Learning Commons.
- Continue straight through the Exhibit Gallery to reach the Special Collections Reading Room.
Hillsborough St. Entrance
Elevator and Stairs
- Enter the Hill Library from the Hillsborough St. entrance.
- Go straight through the gates and turn left.
- Continue down the hallway until you reach the stairs and elevator.
- Take the stairs or elevator to the first floor.
- Continue straight through the lobby and into the Learning Commons.
- Continue straight through the Exhibit Gallery to reach the Special Collections Reading Room.
