Google Scholar will have the Zotero Folder icon in the URL bar. You can use that to see a list of results on the page and check the items you want to save. If this method does not save all information correctly, try Method 2.
1. Set your Google Scholar preferences to best work with the NCSU Libraries. When you set your Bibliography Manager preferences, choose "Show links to import citations into" and choose EndNote*. Save your preferences.
2. In Zotero, access your preferences using the Actions (gear) icon, then choose Preferences. Under the General tab, make sure the box to "Use Zotero for downloaded RIS/Refer files" is checked.
3. Now, when viewing citations in Google Scholar, use the "Import into EndNote" link, which automatically pushes out a formatted reference in RIS format, and which Zotero will capture.
*EndNote is indeed a totally separate citation manager, but it uses the same file format as Zotero.
