Materials within this unit are created for the purpose of assisting teachers in classrooms in the fields of mathematics and science education. The Center for Research in Mathematics and Science Education at North Carolina State University is a unit of the Mathematics and Science Education Network of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The Center for Research in Mathematics and Science Education implement curriculum development, publications, presentations for faculty and staff members from departments of the College of Sciences and Education. The CRMSE seeks to promote education at local, state and national levels by providing leadership into the teaching of science and mathematics. The Center also supplies materials and program development as well as outreach, and evaluation assistance.
