Wesley A. (Wes) McClure (1946- ) graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University in 1969. While attending the university, he served as student body president, 1967-1969. After graduation he practiced architecture mostly in North Carolina, and he was a principal in the firm McClure Hopkins Architects. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Since 2014 he has been CEO of Savvy Parrot, Inc.

Wesley A. (Wes) McClure was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1946. Most of his childhood was spent in South Carolina, where his father headed the archicture program at Clemson University. In 1964 he became a freshman at North Carolina State University, and he graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Wes McClure was involved in student government during his time at NC State University. He was student body treasurer in 1966-1967, then he was student body president for two terms, serving in that position 1967-1969. He played a crucial role in the adoption of a new student government constitution in 1969.
After graduation McClure practiced as an architect, mostly in North Carolina. Firms he worked for included O'Brien/Atkins and NBBJ. From 1999 to 2013 he was a principal in the firm McClure Hopkins Architects. McClure is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Since 2014 he has been CEO of Savvy Parrot, Inc., producer of the Pepi's Island game app.
