This anonymous recipe book contains nearly ninety formulas for dyeing and bleaching cloth and other materials. It is thought to date from the first half of the nineteenth century.
This manuscript recipe book contains approximately ninety recipes and formulas on bleaching and dyeing cloths and other materials. Each recipe is titled, and begins with a list of required ingredients and their quantities, and concludes with a brief description of the procedure involved. The book is handwritten. Recipes are only contained on 33 pages, the remaining 67 pages are blank. It is thought to date from the first half of the nineteenth century.
