Where are the single-occupant (gender-neutral, all-gender) restrooms in the Libraries?

D. H. Hill Jr. Library

  • Floor 1, in the Ask Us Lobby: rooms 1202 and 1231. These are ADA-accessible restrooms.
  • Floor 2, near the Academic Success Center: room 2201. This is an ADA-accessible restroom.
  • Floor 3, near the Cyma Rubin Visualization Gallery: room 3201. This is an ADA-accessible restroom.

James B. Hunt Jr. Library

  • Floor 1, past the bookBot: room 1203. This is an ADA-accessible restroom.

Design Library

  • A gender-inclusive, ADA-accessible, single-occupant restroom is located at the south end of the second floor of Brooks Hall, on the same floor as the library. 

Natural Resources Library

  • The closest gender-inclusive, single-occupant, restroom is in the building next door, on the first floor of Biltmore Hall, Room 1011.
  • There are ADA-accessible men’s and women’s restrooms near the library on the first floor of Jordan Hall.

Veterinary Medicine Library

  • Ask at the Service Desk to use the single-user, gender-inclusive restroom in the VML Staff Room.
  • There is another restroom in CVM Main Building, Room C251. 
  • Accessible restrooms are located just outside the VML's front door, to the left after exiting the library.
