Kick off your 2024-2025 TA journey, equipped with tools, resources, and connections for a successful and fulfilling teaching experience at the TA Toolkit Open House event August 15 at Hill Library. The TA Toolkit is a network of support for Teaching Assistants at NC State University that includes the Graduate School, the Libraries, DELTA, and others. The TA Toolkit is open to any Graduate TA.
Come visit the information tables or sit in on our 15 minute mini-workshops. We will also have space for consultations with staff to answer your questions and help you get started with setting up your courses. Come connect with peers as you explore the resources available to support your growth as a TA. All TAs are invited regardless of college or department, whether you’re assigned to teach in the upcoming semester, or whether you've been here several years!
Lemonade, Howling Cow ice cream, and snacks will be served while supplies last. We will do a prize giveaway to attendees who enter their names! Learn more about the TA Toolkit.
Free and open to the public.
If assistive technology, live captioning, or other accommodations would improve your experience at this event, please contact us. We encourage you to contact us early about this to allow sufficient time to meet your access needs.
