About This Event
Join artist and NC State instructor Greg Carter for a fun-filled puppet workshop in the D. H. Hill Jr. Library. All materials will be provided and no previous art experience necessary. Each child will learn about how puppets are constructed and will work on his or her own puppet creation to take home. The morning workshop is for children 7-9 years old; the afternoon workshop is for children 10-12 years old.
Following the workshop, participants are invited for a brief docent-led tour of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design's exhibit Life's Little Dramas: Puppets, Proxies, and Spirits, on view in the D. H. Hill Jr. Library exhibit gallery.
Each child must be accompanied by adult.
SPACE IS LIMITED to 10 children per workshop and you must register here.
