About This Event
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have been depicted artistically countless times since they were introduced during the 1st Century. This computer animated project by Marc Russo, assistant professor of Art+Design in the College of Design, re-imagines the signs of the Apocalypse using the interactive capabilities of the Hunt Library’s Game Lab to connect video art to Renaissance painting. Russo will describe his modern-day interpretation of the Four Horsemen and discuss the project’s creation and evolution.
Following the program, the Four Horsemen project will be available for viewing in the Game Lab during the following times:
Thursday, March 19 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday, March 20 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
