“Freed Between the Lines” during Banned Books Week. This event will feature a series of readings from some of the most challenged and banned books in history, highlighting the importance of intellectual freedom and the dangers of censorship. Hear excerpts from a diverse selection of banned and challenged books, read by the NC State Community. Feel free to join the read-out and highlight an excerpt from your favorite banned book. This is a drop-in event and is in collaboration with METRC @ Hill.
While you are at the library, come visit the Banned Books Unbound! exhibit in the Cyma Rubin Gallery to see student-created art about banned and challenged books.
Free and open to the public.
